Matthias Lütolf is a bio-engineer and a professor at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). In 2021, he became the Scientific Director for Roche’s Institute for Translation Bioengineering in Basel.

Lütolf has made contributions at the interface of biomaterials, stem cell biology and organoid technology.

Emile Voest is professor of Medical Oncology and serves as Medical Director on the Executive Board of the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Amsterdam).

He is a senior group leader at NKI and the Oncode Institute. His lab is devoted to bringing personalized medicine to patients and is focused on the identification of biomarkers that predict efficacy of immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
